Overview

Lakeside Minerals Inc. (TSXV: LAK) ("Lakeside" or the "Company") is engaged in acquiring and exploring mineral properties in the mining-friendly jurisdiction of Quebec. The Company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Lakeside Minerals Corp., currently holds a portfolio of properties with emphasis on gold.

Lakeside plans to focus on assessing the gold potential of the Launay and Disson properties. Located in the vicinity of Rouyn-Noranda, northwestern Quebec, these properties display significant historical drill results and have excellent potential for discovery.

Launay property: Au
  • Located on a major NW-SE deformation zone in the heart of the Abitibi subprovince. Shows high potential for shear zone-related gold mineralization. Property straddles 22 km of deformation zone, covers a 17 km trend of gold showings, and covers a 6 km trend of historical gold soil anomalies. Several gold showings display historical high grade gold results in drill intersections, trenching, and grab samples. Much of the deformation zone and soil anomalies remain untested by drilling.

Disson property: Au
  • Located on a major E-W deformation zone. Shows potential for shear zone-related gold mineralization. Property displays well-developed alteration zone over 2 km long with anomalous and high-grade gold values in historical drill intersections. Over 13 km of deformation zone to explore.

Lakeside's management and board have extensive experience in mineral exploration and mining, in legal affairs, and in the financing of junior companies on the TSX Venture.

Lakeside plans to actively pursue the acquisition of properties of merit in the vicinity of historical mining districts of Quebec and apply the latest geological models and exploration techniques. The Company also plans to selectively investigate underexplored areas with high potential for new discoveries.
